How to Check for Water Leaks

  • First, turn on both the hot and cold water to check for leaks around the sink faucet area.

  • Check for any leaks on the upper part of the countertop/sink.

  • Check for leaks at the drain pipe connection.

  • Check for leaks at each component connection side on the water purifier.

  • Check for leaks at the refrigerator connection line:

    1. Inspect areas where the refrigerator connection tube is secured with staples.

    2. Inspect the connection point between the tube and the refrigerator.

    3. Verify whether the leak is coming from the refrigerator itself.

2

Decreased Water Flow or No Water Supply

  • Identify Symptoms:

    1. Determine exactly when the water flow started to decrease.

    2. Check if the volume of water is low or if the water output pressure is weak.

    3. Ensure there is no misunderstanding regarding the purification capacity or standard operating instructions.

  • Check the Tank:

    1. Turn off the tank valve to see if water is being produced normally.

    2. Check the tank weight (feel if it is heavy or light).

    3. Listen closely to check for any internal diaphragm issues.

  • Water Pressure: Follow instructions to measure water pressure and adjust the Water Pressure Regulator.

  • Check if the leak-protection safety device has been tripped.

Guidelines After Receiving Service

  • Refrigerator Connection: Instructions on configuring the Ice Maker lever and switch settings.

  • Post-Filter Replacement: Instructions on draining the tank water 1 to 2 hours after a filter change.

  • Moving the Unit: Be careful not to kink or bend the tubing when moving the water purifier.

4

Guidelines After Initial Installation

  • Using Only the Water Purifier: Flush and discard the initial purified water (drain for 6–7 minutes) before drinking.

  • When Connected to a Refrigerator: Turn on the Ice Maker after 1 hour and discard the initial batches of ice and water.

  • When Using a Hot & Cold Dispenser: Turn on the Hot switch after 2 hours and drain the initial hot and cold water.

Filter Replacement Methods

OLD Type (Housing Style)

  • Supplement air using an air pump and drain the system.

  • Close the Feed Line Stop Valve and detach the filter housing.

  • Replace the filter and inspect the tightness of the housing nuts.

  • Adjust the tank pressure (to approx. 7.0 psi) and verify normal operation.

PURI5 Filter Replacement
